About the event

Dutchman’s Breeches & Bumblebees 🌿🐝

Join us for a springtime exploration of the Trillium and Spangler trails as we seek out Dutchman’s Breeches, a charismatic spring flowering plant. Along the way, we’ll discuss the vital role of queen bumblebees in pollinating these flowers. This relatively easy hike, covering up to two miles, offers a chance to witness the seasonal awakening of the forest. We may even spot some queen bumblebees emerging from hibernation! 🐝✨

Distance: Up to 2 miles, easy pace

Note:  All hikes begin at Education Parking Lot unless noted otherwise. Come prepared for the weather and to have a good time!"
